International Earth Photography Contest - Entries Due 18 June 2018
Photographers are allowed to submit up to 10 of their best photos or films. According to Earth Photo, "It is an innovative new competition and exhibition developed jointly by Forestry Commission England and the Royal Geographical Society (with IBG) which reflects the organisations’ common interest in enabling a better understanding of the world around us through the complementary disciplines of the Environment and Geography". The contest is open to students, emerging and professional photographers, and international and local photographers, with no age limit. Earth Photo aims to identify the real story behind the photography and encourage conversations about the subjects involved. The photographs should be appropriate for all ages and demonstrate beautiful creativity. The submitted photos and films should have been completed before January 2016. There is an entry fee of $28. The juries will judge entries based on the following factors: Impact, Creativity, Originality, Composition, Relevance and Technical Quality. The selected photographers will be notified by email by 29 June 2018.

The selected photos will be put up for a free exhibition at the Royal Geographical Society, London from July to September 2018. The winneres will be announced during the exhibition.
