Sony World Photography Contest and Exhibition with Stunning Photographs - 20 April-16 May 2018

Photography Contest & Exhibition: The world's leading and most prestigious Sony World Photography Awards has revealed the shortlisted images from its 2018 contest. The competition includes four categories: Professional, Open, Youth and Student Focus. The winners will receive a total prize fund of $30,000 (USD), plus the latest Sony digital imaging equipment. Photographers are taken on a year-long journey that brings untold exposure and provides a global stage on which to present their work. The competition received 319,561 images from around the world. The insight and contemporary concerns shown by the photographers have impressed the judges. The popular Sony World Photography Awards Exhibition, which showcases the winning, shortlisted and commended images, is curated at the landmark Somerset House in London from 20th April to 6th May.
